My family is now in Oregon. It isn't the way I had planned it to be but praise God we are a family again. My mother is in a home, I am being investigated for neglect and abuse. I admitted to neglect because I did not give my mother all the medication she needed to keep from having high blood sugars. I had been advised by a social worker/discharge planner that I was not required to give my mother her medication and that if she were to die because of it I would probably not get in trouble for it. For a year now my wife and I have been shouting "help" to my family, doctors, etc. for a year now and no one would help. Even in Washington state I had discharge planners threatening to put my mother out on the street. Even though the state considers me my mothers care giver they had not been keeping me informed of her medical status or even when they moved her to another hospital. I have dealt with caring people and people who have openly told me they don't care about me, my wife, or daughter. Their problem (burden is the word the doctor used) is my mom.
My mom's family really doesn't like my wife, in some cases they mock my faith, and I am not really liked because I am seening as siding with my wife. Things are tough, real tough. I have hope though because I know that Christ is in charge. I look forward to establishing relationships in my parish home, where ever that is to be.

Sorry for the lag in publishing your comments, I forgot that I had comments moderated.
I hope you are well. We'd love to see you. That might require you making a trip to Alaska if my works comes up with a suitable compensation plan. I really love the company and my work.
